Teacher Overall comments can be created, edited and deleted under the Reports section in the Pupil and Subject Comments area.  This allows for an overall teacher comment for individual pupils which will appear on the parental reports.  If you do not want the teacher overall comment section to show on a report, ensure that no comments for pupils have been entered in this section and delete any existing ones.



Create Teacher Overall Comments

To begin writing a comment for a pupil click on 'Create teacher overall comments':



Subjects that have had a Pupil Subject Comment entered will appear in the table on the left.


To add a comment:

  • Group: Select the group that contains the pupils you want to add.

  • Pupil:  Select the specific pupil to add a comment for.


Type the comments in the pupil comment box  and press 'Create Comment' for it to be saved. 


Edit and Delete Teacher Overall Comments

To edit or delete comments that have been made click on the 'View and Edit Comments' directly beneath 'Create Teacher Overall Comments'.  

New comments can be added by clicking the 'Add New' button in the top right hand corner.  This will take you to the 'Create Teacher Overall Comments' page.  To edit a comment, select the group that contains the pupil whose comment you want to edit.  Choose the pupil from the list below and click on the row:


Make any amendments in the pupil comment box and then press 'Save Comment' for the changes to take effect.


If you wish to delete a comment, click on the delete icon in the top right hand corner:




This will then come up with a notification stating "Comment Deleted" to indicate this has been successful.
