CM Leader pathway, Level 4
Outcome: All users in school have completed the learning for level 4 in their pathways
Why it matters: To ensure effective use of Classroom Monitor, it is important to ensure that all staff have completed the relevant learning and you have identified where support may be required
Level 4 is all about using Classroom Monitor to enhance teaching and learning. There are no specific Level 4 Learning Guides on the CM Leader Pathway, however you may want to access some of the guides below in order to ensure your understanding and to support others.
Level 4 SLT Pathway
This covers how Classroom Monitor can be used in Pupil Progress Meetings. This could be covered in an SLT meeting followed to allow discussion of best practice pupil progress meetings or using the learning guide independently. Ideally, there should be some assessment information recorded in your school’s account before accessing this learning.
This brief learning guide looks at how to bring the information in Classroom Monitor together to improve school effectiveness. This could be covered in an SLT meeting or the guidance can be accessed via the learning guide. It is recommended that all other modules have been completed prior to this learning.
NB Depending on their role in school, SLT members may also find it useful to access T4a, T4b and T4c
Level 4 Teacher Pathway
This covers how to use the information held in Classroom Monitor to inform planning. This could be covered in a staff meeting or you could encourage users to use the learning guide independently. Ideally, there should be sufficient assessment information recorded for the class before accessing this learning.
This gives an overview of the options for assessing pupils with SEND. You could cover this as part of a staff meeting or encourage users to access the learning guide independently.
