Why it matters: Each user has their own account where they can make and access assessments
Time to complete: 15 minutes
Logging in for the first time
You will receive an email telling you that a user account has been created for you. You should click on the link to verify your email address and setup your password.
Once you have been through this process, you will be able to login at:
https://new.classroommonitor.co.uk
Your account
You have your own personal Classroom Monitor account, these do not need to be shared. All assessment information is attached to pupil records rather than user records, so changes made by one person will be visible to others with access to that pupil.
With ‘teacher’ user permissions, you can add, edit and view markbook assessments and data for any group that has been assigned to you or created by you.
Classroom Monitor overview
There are 4 key sections in Classroom Monitor:
MARKBOOK: For making and viewing assessments for individual pupils against assessment criteria.
PROGRESS: For viewing data for tracking purposes. This includes data generated from assessments in the markbook and other external data.
EXT. DATA: For importing data that has been generated outside of Classroom Monitor e.g. test results.
SETTINGS: For controlling your account.
When you login, you can directly access the section you require using the icons in the dark blue strip down the left hand side:
If you are in an area where you can't see the icon strip, you will be able to access it by clicking the menu button in the top left 
Remember to use the 'Logout' button in the bottom left to make sure that all your data is kept secure.
