SLT pathway, Level 1
Outcome: Can login and find your way around your user account
Why it matters: Your account gives you the ability to make assessments for any pupils you teach as well as accessing assessment information for other groups in school
Time to complete: 15 minutes
Logging in for the first time
You will receive an email telling you that a user account has been created for you. You should click on the link to verify your email address and setup your password.
Your ‘SLT’ account
You have your own personal Classroom Monitor account, these do not need to be shared. All assessment information is attached to pupil records rather than user records, so changes made by one person will be visible to others with access to that pupil.
With ‘SLT’ user permissions, you can add, edit and view markbook assessments and data for any group that has been assigned to you or created by you. You also have access to overview data reports at a school and year-group level as well as group level.
You may also have been given 'admin' user rights which gives you access to your school settings for Classroom Monitor. This area is covered in the CM Leader Pathway.
